"Knowledge is better than wealth, as you have to look after wealth, but knowledge looks after you."
I suppose this proverb reminds us to keep on learning, regardless of wealth status.
When wealth disappears or runs dry, knowledge applied can build again.
Of course, before wealth disappears, knowledge previously or reactively applied should circumvent total disappearance of wealth.
Notice the emphasis is placed on applying what you learn. Without knowledge religiously applied, wealth will not be maintained.
As a matter of fact, to enjoy wealth, one must have the know how - Knowledge!
