"The madman who throws a stone into a crowded market, forgets that his own mother could be hit by his madness".
Looking at the circumstances that have transpired in the beautiful country of Nigeria, I was reminded of this proverb.
The market represents the people, with the mother in the midst of the crowd.
By no means am I calling anyone mad or a mad man, but rather would like to emphasis the fact that throwing stones whilst aiming at a few, subjecting a few people to brutality, will result in the majority being subjected to the same brutality, then eventually hitting mother Africa. No-one wants to upset our mother!
The land of Africa is our mother, it is the motherland. As Africans, we are well aware that once our mother is upset, great discipline will inevitably follow.
You may be aiming at a particular person in the crowd, but before you know it, you have hit mother Africa, and like a lion, she will roar. Be careful!!
