"No matter how long and winding the road might be, it will always lead you to your destination" - Malawi.
It may seem easier to take a shorter route, make quick fixes, or even going it alone. Somehow, you then realise at some point along the shorter journey, that you should have followed the long and winding road, but perhaps too proud to openly admit it.
The experience, lessons learnt and the growth that takes places along the long and winding road will all be worth it in the end, and irreplaceable. It is not a waste of time, rather it is time well spent. The wealth of experience of circumstantial events along that journey is so valuable, this is what makes and shapes you.
It really is not about reaching the finish line quickly, but it is about the journey itself!
