As a man Thinketh - a classic book in the field of motivation

James Allen wrote well when he explained the effect of thought (good and bad) on the health and body. He said that the body is the servant of the mind, and obeys the operations of the mind without question.

I have often heard, and read that as the mind dwells on glad, beautiful thoughts, the body is clothed in beauty. Equally, as the mind dwells on opposite thoughts, the body sinks in to a dis-ease(no longer at ease/disease) or decay.

Philippians 4 v 8 also advises to dwell on what is lovely and pure.

I have found it very interesting to learn that disease and health are rooted in thought, individual thoughts. Sickly thoughts will express themselves through the body. It is said that fear alone can kill a person before the person is actually killed.

Anxiety deflates the body, impure thoughts will eventually to impure actions, and will at the very least affect your sensorium. Whilst happy thoughts build enthusiasm and grace. Out of a clean heart (mind) comes a clean body.

Friends, a change of thought is necessary in order to positively change your health. That perfect body, comes about by changing what the mind dwells on.

I have come to personally discover that thoughts of jealousy, envy, hate, malice will cause you to deep dive into a well depression and anger, therefore telling on the body and is expressed through your behaviour. That sour face came by sour thoughts. - just saying

James Allen goes on to say, "To live continually in thoughts of ill will, cynicism, suspicion, and envy is to confined in a self made prison hole". "But to think well of all, and to be cheerful with all - such unselfish thoughts are the very portals of heaven".

To stay happy requires effort, there isn't a magic formula. Practical steps must be taken on a daily basis, moment by moment.

- Do what makes you happy, and never compromise your happiness for anyone else;

- Speak your truth, it will set you free;

- Do not be afraid to say no. There comes a time when you must say no, so to remain within the confines of peace. Say no with grace!

There are those who have a problem for every solution, stay away from them!

Happy thoughts = happy body!
